    Thane: CR apprentice hit by local train, dies

    An apprentice from Central Railway’s signalling and telecommunication department of died after being hit by a local train between Thane and Mulund on Monday. A native of Kozhikode in Kerala, J S Satya Nandan (26), was on his first day of training in Thane.
