    Denied dialysis by 6 hosps, Navi Mumbai boy dies

    A 15-year-old boy from Sanpada, Pawan Maddiboina, who was suffering from a kidney ailment, died on May 16 after his family was made to take him from hospital to hospital for dialysis. The famiy said they approached six hospitals but all of them denied him dialysis, demanding a Covid-negative report first. The NMMC chief has ordered an inquiry.
